45*21

no one can see through the looking glass ever
even in times of dire need
the looking glass is no swimming pool
you can't travel through time but in it
shave off some hours by some weighty cost
you can't lose your wallet near the subway
and hope to find it the next day
you got zombie rolled
when you weren't looking your identity was stolen
you are staring from a bus window
back into the recesses of your mind
through the reflection of your eyes
this is a memory movie of daydream time
the many passing images of hobo logic
you wander off into it in search of an oar
to paddle the lifeboat ashore
color snakes slither all around
but you refuse to read this to anyone
because you are afraid of your own mind
the snakes it breeds
palaces from which no one escapes
