45*21

sky amber and jade
but the film was stone gray
a stiletto in the water
a steel face at dawn
you can't erase the ghostly face of god
it is like a screen behind which we make the face
and fall backward into the abyss
a stream filled with reeds
the timber of which you can not sing
they now canonize the unjust
it's a special order
this lavender of royalty
the donkey sees all the abuse
the scars of life painted on black rock
the billy-clubs are alive with the sound of head squash
the streets paint florescent streaks in faultless
disgust of walking early morning cityscape
look at the horse breath at stables
Brooklyn, on the side of the park
they wear blindfolds when they sleep
and gage us by our tempers
