Banana Bread Pudding

I happened upon this accidentally when I saw some bananas sitting in the compost that were spotted still but not black.

ingredients:

2-3 bananas that are ripe as hell
3 eggs (fresh as hell, an option but a good one. If you get it warm from the hen house even better)

a stick of butter (no margarine substitute, man!)
1 cup and a half of bisquick
1 cup of sugar or quality maple syrup

preheat your oven to about 325 degrees (I used a wood stove and the heat fluctuates a little, but no big deal)

you put all those in a big mixing bowl, but only 3/4 of the stick of butter. with the other 1/4 stick you grease up a bread pan (I use a sturdy cast iron one)

gnash up the ingredients in the bowl with a mixing spoon leaving some lumps of banana and some lumps of butter

pour that glop into your pan and stick it in the oven

bake for an hour

turn the oven off or if you are using a wood stove stop stoking it & let the bread sit in the oven for another 1/2 hour & then let it cool for a half hour before digging in

goes well with black beer and perhaps some more butter

get fat get drunk get happy!
